Into the wild
Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer fallows the story of a recent collage graduate named Christopher McCandless. Christopher, who desires to have adventures like his hero’s John Muir and Jack London, decides to rid himself of all his possessions, and go into the wild. He starts by burning all of the money in his wallet, and removing the license plates from his car, he then rids himself of all personal possession to be in contact with nature. Christopher then hitchhikes his way to Alaska, where he changes his name to “Alexander Supertramp”, now he is free to experience the true beauty of the world. As the book unravels, the reader can see the pieces falling into place, like a puzzle, the ending of the book is only revealed as you continue to read on. The books’ setting has a great amount of importance in the plot. The book starts off with Christopher in his luxurious home, and ends with him in Alaska; this shows him departing his past life, and every thing that came with it, to end up in the true wild.
As I began to read Into the Wild, I felt that I would enjoy this book based on the plot, and where I saw the book going. As I read this book, I found it very hard to stop reading once I had started. Krakauer uses imagery, and foreshadowing to portray the setting and plot of his book. I would recommend this book to almost any reader

I saw the movie they made for this book and it was really good. The book sounds interesting, that's crazy that someone would be that serious about doing that that they would actually burn all their money. This book makes me curious because i cant imagine ridding myself of all my personal belongings. I think the book is always better than the movie so this is a book i would definately consider reading.
I also saw this movie and i thought that it was really good. Thay always say that books are better than the movies about them, and i think that this book would be the same way. I love the outdoors but i cant imagine myself just getting up and leaving a civilized life for Alaska. This definantly would be a good book to read
I also saw the movie and loved it the book really apeals to me because i love the outdoors and the whole idea of it sounds like a fun camping trip and something i would really like to try.
